At the former Whipple's Pharmacy on Rte. 7A near Ways Lane, opposite Orvis sale store.

Preview Evening: Friday, September 17 5-7 PM ($5 donation)

Sale: Saturday & Sunday, September 18-19
10 AM - 4 PM

Volunteers are needed to help both before and during the sale -- sign up at the library front desk.

OUTSMARTING INVESTMENT FRAUD


Learn the magnitude of investment fraud.  Discover the risk factors, who is at greatest risk, and the most common persuasion tactics as well as the most powerful fraud prevention strategies.



Thursday, September 23 at noon.

Free presentation by Linda Miller of the Community of VT Elders and VT SMP. Bring a bag lunch. Beverages & dessert will be provided.

Admits 1 vehicle with up to 8 people free for one day to any state park. Enjoy picnicking, swimming, & hiking.

 2. Vermont Historic Site Pass www.historicvermont.org/sites -
Up to 8 people admitted free to any VT Historic Site.  Sites range from early settlements, to Revolutionary War sites, to homesteads of U.S. Presidents.

3. Echo Lake Aquarium & Science Center Pass www.echovermont.org -
Admits up to 2 adults and 3 youth for $2/admission.  Go “buggy” this summer with the robotic insects of “Backyard Monsters." Through September 6.

 4. Clark Art Institute Pass www.clarkart.org  -
2 adults admitted free (children always free). “Picasso Looks at Degas” will run through September 12.

5. American Precision Museum www.americanprecision.org -
Admits up to 2 adults with school-aged children at no charge. Explore “From Muskets to Motorcars” through October.

6. Vermont History Museum Pass www.vermonthistory.org
Admits a family for one free admission. Enjoy the award-winning interactive exhibit “Freedom & Unity.”

Library members may check out a pass for 3 days and may reserve a pass one day in advance if available. Additional conditions apply.
