Use Your Library, Support it Generously!
The Mark Skinner Library is an essential and vital community center for education, enjoyment and outreach. Its mission is to serve the life-long journey of learning by providing information and opportunities for personal enrichment to people of all ages in our community. The Annual Fund bridges the gap between tax-payer funding and the full cost of providing quality services.

Annual Fund
The Mark Skinner Library is an essential and vital community center for education, enjoyment and outreach. Its mission is to serve the life-long journey of learning by providing information and opportunities for personal enrichment to people of all ages in our community. The Annual Fund bridges the gap between tax-payer funding and the full cost of providing quality services.

Why Give?
The Library is the rare institution that offers opportunity for people of all ages and all backgrounds. From finding a job to launching a business, from researching a school report, to learning about the world, libraries help people get started. Although most public libraries in Vermont receive, on average 70% of their annual financial backing through taxpayer support, the town of Manchester appropriation accounts for less than 50% of Mark Skinner's 06-07 income. To fulfill our mission, we must raise funds through our Annual Fund drive.
